Breckon Drainage and Civil was established in 1986 by Gordon and Cherry Breckon as Gordon Breckon Drainage (GBD).
Gordon himself raised in Northland spent 3 years working for a local engineering company and studying for and gaining his NZCD (architecture) which provided invaluable experience in the ability to fully understand, incorporate and design engineering plans and systems. Gordon then went overseas for eight years and became involved in the mineral exploration and oil drilling industry which gave him extensive hands on experience in geology. Upon his return to NZ he gained his drainage certificate and then started up GBD.
In recent years Gordons son Mark has joined the business thus the name change to Breckon Drainage and Civil which was a natural choice. Gordon and Mark have since formed a partnership with a vast amount of experience from the last 40 years as well as updating our approach with the latest technology in the drainage and civil field to be able to offer our customers the very best service in the coming years.
