One of GBD’s predominant contracts for the Department of Conservation was the partial upgrade, and installation of the Kawau Island Mansion House Bay Sewerage System.

This included the enlargement of two existing treatment ponds, installation of baffles, the full supply and construction of a pump house complete with twin electric pumps, construction of an intake jetty and surface irrigation covering a total of 20,000m².
