When Panguru flooded in January 1999, Gordon Breckon Drainage sent plant and equipment to the school as soon as it became available as, once the Ministry of Education became aware of the extent of the school damage, the work increased rapidly.
GBD transformed the old school site into a playfield, prepped all foundations for all roading, footpaths, courts and the school gymnasium, preparing new swimming pool site, we constructed a pump shed, installed multiple pumps, valves, a reservoir tank, stormwater control system, pumping chambers, septic tanks, sewerage works for school houses, drinking fountains, remedial works to old systems, extensive transplanting of vegetation, as well as the water reticulation around the entire school area.
The entire town of Panguru was sincerely grateful for our immediate attention, as we were for their wonderful hospitality and awesome attitude.
