When Gordon moved both his family and his business to Maungatapere, a firm and lasting relationship started with the Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme and together we have completed a wide array of contracts.

We completed 12 road crossings, some thrusting with the majority being open cut, on the Whatitiri Extention Project alone, and layed a total of 25 Kilometres of pipelines, ranging from 80mmø to 300mmø since our first contract in June 1994.
GBD has carried out works on the Whatitiri Extention, installed a number of both water metres and water mains, blasting and demolition, remedial works on line blow outs along with all other aspects of Drainage and Earthworks involved in the construction and installation of systems used in the scheme.
